Abolition. Free speech. Women's suffrage. These were all causes the Republican Party adopted early on. So, too, were reducing the size of government, streamlining bureaucracy, and returning power to individual states. With a core belief in the primacy of individuals, the Republican Party, since its inception, has been at the forefront of the fight for individuals' rights in opposition to a large, intrusive government.
For more than 200 years, Democrats have represented the interests of working families, fighting for equal opportunities and justice for all Americans.
Our party was founded on the conviction that wealth and privilege shouldn't be an entitlement to rule and the belief that the values of hardworking families are the values that should guide us.
We didn't become the most prosperous country in the world by rewarding greed and recklessness or by letting those with the most influence write their own rules. We got here by rewarding hard work and responsibility, by investing in people, and by growing our country from the bottom up.
Today Democrats are fighting to repair a decade of damage and grow an economy based on the values of Main Street, not greed and reckless speculation. Democrats are focused on rescuing our economy not just in the short run but also rebuilding our economy for the long run—an economy that lifts up not just some Americans, but all Americans.
Boston Tea Party
The Boston Tea Party supports reducing the size, scope and power of government at all levels and on all issues, and opposes increasing the size, scope and power of government at any level, for any purpose.
Tea Party Patriots (teapartypatriots.org)
The Tea Party Patriots' mission is to restore America's founding principles of Fiscal Responsibility, Constitutionally Limited Government and Free Markets. The Tea Party movement spontaneously formed in 2009 from the reaction of the American people to fiscally irresponsible actions of the federal government, misguided “stimulus” spending, bailouts and takeovers of private industry.
Tea Party Express
The Tea Party Express is proud to stand for six simple principles: No more bailouts, reduce the size and intrusiveness of government, stop raising our taxes, repeal Obamacare, cease out-of-control spending and bring back American prosperity.
Tea Party Nation
Tea Party Nation is a user-driven group of like-minded people who desire our God-given individual freedoms written out by the Founding Fathers. We believe in Limited Government, Free Speech, the 2nd Amendment, our Military, Secure Borders and our Country.
The central focus of the America First Party is to put America and all Americans First. We will elect candidates who will restore morality, ethics, and common sense to public service. We will return our Constitution to its proper place in our Republic.
A very small, very conservative, Christian splinter party formed after a break from the American Independent Party in 1972. Beyond the pro-life, pro-gun and anti-tax views, the American Party also advocates an end to farm price supports/subsidies, privatization of the US Postal Service, opposes federal involvement in education, supports abolition of the Environmental Protection Agency, supports repeal of NAFTA, opposes minimum wage laws, opposes land use zoning regulations and opposes convening a Constitutional convention. Of course, the American Party also opposes the United Nations, the New World Order, communism, socialism and the Trilateral Commission.
The American Independent Party gratefully acknowledges God as the Creator of all and appeals to Him for help in protecting all He has graciously given us. With all these gifts comes the right to use them justly. Hence all such rights are the gifts of God—as affirmed in our Declaration of Independence. These include the right to life and liberty. Platform: The Constitution: the Original Contract that America has with Itself; Freedom from "Liberalism"; The Protection of Life, and the Duties and Rights of Families; Marriage Between a Man and a Woman; The Individual and Common Defense; Opposition to Illegal Immigration and Support of Secure Borders; Our Great Pro-Life Constitution; Public Servants, Not Public Masters! All Governments Under God.
Dedicated to the 14 WORDS. We are committed to bringing American national socialism, first created and embodied by our late Commander George Lincoln Rockwell, out of the past Phase One activities which at the time served their purpose well, and into the 21st Century.
Platform: Smaller, more efficient and transparent Federal and State government; Strict adherence to our Constitution by the executive, legislative and Judicial branches of our government; Strict Fiscal Responsibility of Federal Government by adopting a Balanced Budget Amendment; Lower taxes for individuals and corporate America by abolishing the IRS and replacing it with a simplified single and smaller flat or fair tax; A sound economy with a strong dollar, free markets and a non-interventionist foreign policy limited to issues that directly affect our countries National Security; Immediate Reduction of our Country's National Debt; Restoring trust, integrity, honor and common sense in government and its elected officials; Adoption of a Term Limits Amendment on our legislators (2 terms in Senate and 6 terms in Congress); Restore solvency of our Social Security and Medicare systems by repaying the government borrowed money and privatizing both to guarantee payment; Strengthen immigration by first enforcing existing laws and limiting the annually allowed immigrants entering our country Then revamp the law; Election reform with open primaries, ballot access to independent and third party candidates, eliminate Gerrymandering and Electorate Recall vote to remove legislators in their respective state; Create a Health Care environment and regulations that promotes competition, competitive industry pricing and lower medical costs resulting in affordable health insurance for all Americans; Eliminate salaries for legislators and provide a small per diem and expense reimbursement when they are in attendance.
Sees the need for a third party platform that represents people who are conservative on social issues but progressive on economic issues. Feels that Republicans, Libertarians and the Tea Party do not represent what they consider "Christ-like" behavior in political policy. Believe social justice, especially toward the poor, the weak and disadvantaged in society, and the elderly, is an essentual and universally understood morally "right" choice. Furthermore, they disagree with "Reagonomics," deregulation, and privatization, as a moral and ethical matter as well as a logical one. Environmentalism and supporting education are morally and ethically right choices as well. They feel the need to distance themselves from the political left due to issues that the political left supports such as; abortion, gay marriage, and militant secularism. Although they are a party that is based on the Christian ethos, they do not favor any church politically but do support churches and faith based institutions wholeheartedly. Many are "Red Letter Christians" but as a party they welcome anyone who sides with the basic platform and are willing to serve everyone with fairness and compassion.
Believes that government policy in the United States discriminates against white Americans, the majority population, and that white Americans need their own political party to fight this discrimination.
Believes we're One Nation Under God. The first sworn duty of every officer of government is to protect the God-given, unalienable rights to life, liberty, and private property of every person, from creation to natural death. The God-given institution of one man-one woman marriage and the natural family must be protected. The right of the people to Keep and Bear Arms shall not be infringed. Our national sovereignty, security, and borders must be defended. Our republican form of representative self-government must be adhered to. The oath of office to support and defend the Constitution of the United States must be fulfilled.
The Christian Socialist Party USA affirms peace, equitably, justice, inclusion, and ecological integrity. Links the wisdom of spirituality with political activism. We come from many Christian traditions, but we are united in rejecting an exploitative economic system and embracing a social and civil vision of personal and societal responsibilities. Guided by the religious, spiritual, ethical, and mores that nurture us in common faith, we honor the sacredness found in people with respect for human dignity. We lift up a society free from exploitation in defense of common sense and common law..
An organization committed to reforming social injustices, being a voice for those without a voice, a community to those without a community, and changing the perception of Christian values in action worldwide. As Christians we are called, as Jesus clearly states in the Great Commission, to act on behalf of and be a voice for the poor, in-need and vulnerable in our society. This is a calling that includes loving your neighbor, standing against injustice and exhibiting compassion in not only our individual daily lives, but on a national, social and political level as well – overall, the policies the Democratic platform supports best exemplifies these values.
Do you want to help get money out of politics? Do you want to help end the largest transfer of wealth in the history of the world? Do you want to protect the American middle class and American jobs? Do you want to keep Jobs in the United States and and keep companies from going overseas?
They believe that the Republicans and Democrats have given the people of the United states false hope thoughout the years.
Their goal is to work as an Independent party wanting to change the outcome of this great nation during elections from Local to State and National.
Make America strong and the hardest working country in the world!
A better and peaceful world is possible — a world where people and nature come before profits. That's socialism. That's our vision. We are the Communist Party USA.
The seven principles of the Constitution Party are: 1) Life: For all human beings, from conception to natural death; 2) Liberty: Freedom of conscience and actions for the self-governed individual; 3) Family: One husband and one wife with their children as divinely instituted; 4) Property: Each individual's right to own and steward personal property without government burden; 5) Constitution: and Bill of Rights interpreted according to the actual intent of the Founding Fathers; 6) States' Rights: Everything not specifically delegated by the Constitution to the federal government, nor prohibited by the Constitution to the states, is reserved to the states or to the people; 7) American Sovereignty: American government committed to the protection of the borders, trade, and common defense of Americans, and not entangled in foreign alliances.
The U.S. Freedom Socialist Party is a revolutionary, socialist feminist organization, dedicated to the replacement of capitalist rule by a genuine workers' democracy that will guarantee full economic, social, political and legal equality to all who are exploited, oppressed and repelled by the profit system and its offshoot—imperialism. We are unionists, antiwar activists, free speech advocates, environmentalists, gay freedom fighters and rebellious people of color and youth.
The ten key values of the Green Party: 1. Grassroots Democracy - Every human being deserves a say in the decisions that affect their lives and not be subject to the will of another; 2. Social Justice and Equal Opportunity; 3. Ecological wisdom; 4. Non-violence; 5. Decentralization; 6. Community-based economics and economic justice; 7. Feminism and gender equality; 8. Respect for diversity; 9. Personal and global responsibility; 10. Future focus and sustainability.
Promote: respect for life, liberty and property; strong traditional families; patriotism; and individual, state and national sovereignty — with a strong reliance on the Declaration of Independence and allegiance to the Constitution for the United States of America — by petition to God and by political and educational means.
New national political vehicle for disgruntled citizens who feel the Democratic Party is not sufficiently progressive. The early documents imply the Justice Party supports universal health care and LGBT equality, backs the Kyoto Protocols to reduce climate change, and opposes "the wars of the Bush-Obama Presidency."
The Light Party is rooted in the ancient and powerful awareness, that that the Earth(Gaia) and all of Humanity are part of a connected, living matrix. As we move further into the 21st Century, we are evolving with increasing velocity towards an ascended, enlightened consciousness. As we, the people, become more unified, compassionate, peace-loving and aware, our values, priorities and choices naturally transform. We are continuing to work together in support of innumerable groups and individuals throughout the world who are working on a personal and collective level to dramatically improve the quality of life here on planet Earth.
Libertarians seek a world of liberty; a world in which all individuals are sovereign over their own lives and no one is forced to sacrifice his or her values for the benefit of others. Libertarians believe that respect for individual rights is the essential precondition for a free and prosperous world, that force and fraud must be banished from human relationships, and that only through freedom can peace and prosperity be realized. Consequently, Libertarians defend each person's right to engage in any activity that is peaceful and honest, and welcome the diversity that freedom brings. The world they seek to build is one where individuals are free to follow their own dreams in their own ways, without interference from government or any authoritarian power.
The Modern Whig Party was revived as the Modern Whig Party in 2007 by Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans who, upon returning home, became disenchanted with the political gridlock and paralysis created by the entrenched two-party system. The party for independent-minded voters who want to be affiliated with a moderate, mainstream, free-thinking party. We encourage participation and offer leadership positions to qualified members. Our mission is to broaden public participation, put an end to the two-party system, and find rational solutions to the problems facing our country.
The NSM, America's National Socialist Party, is the largest and most active National Socialist political party in America. The NSM's core beliefs include: defending the rights of white people everywhere, preservation of our European culture and heritage, strengthening family values, economic self-sufficiency, and reform of illegal immigration policies, immediate withdrawal of our national military from an illegal Middle Eastern occupation and promotion of white separation.
On February 2, 2008, Ayn Rand's birthday, Dr. Tom Stevens formed the Objectivist Party. The Objectivist Party seeks to promote Ayn Rand's philosophy of Objectivism in the political realm.
Exists to carry out the struggle for socialism inside the United States, the center of world capitalism and imperialism. The PSL stands in solidarity with our sisters and brothers around the world who are resisting capitalist exploitation and imperialist domination.
Committed to socialism, democracy, ecology, feminism and racial equality. We represent the working class, those without capital in a capitalist society. We organize toward a world where cooperation replaces competition, a world where all people are well fed, clothed and housed; where all women and men have equal status; where all individuals may freely endeavor to fulfill their own talents and desires; a world of freedom and peace where every community retains its cultural integrity and lives with all others in harmony.
"If you are a reform-minded conservative and a non-drinker, the Prohibition Party wants you."
The Reform Party believes it is the champion of America, those who work hard to make a better life for their family in the field, factories, hospitals, and offices. And that means from blue collar to white collar, regardless of race, religion, color, creed, or sexual orientation. We oppose Free Trade because it is damaging to the citizens of both countries when there is a large difference in income. We oppose the aggressive use of the military except as a last resort in situations of clear and present danger to national security. We oppose the expansion of the Federal government and believe that more decisions should be made locally. We support the interests of small and medium businesses and individual entrepreneurs. We believe that earmark spending (pork) is a recipe for economic destruction. We believe that the role of the Federal government should not be as a provider of benefits and services, but generally the role of regulator and watchdog over programs administered at the state levels.
The Socialist Party strives to establish a radical democracy that places people's lives under their own control - a non-racist, classless, feminist socialist society... where working people own and control the means of production and distribution through democratically controlled public agencies; where full employment is realized for everyone who wants to work; where workers have the right to form unions freely, and to strike and engage in other forms of job actions; and where the production of society is used for the benefit of all humanity, not for the private profit of a few. We believe socialism and democracy are one and indivisible. The working class is in a key and central position to fight back against the ruling capitalist class and its power. The working class is the major force worldwide that can lead the way to a socialist future - to a real radical democracy from below. The Socialist Party fights for progressive changes compatible with a socialist future. We support militant working class struggles and electoral action, independent of the capitalist controlled two-party system, to present socialist alternatives. We strive for democratic revolutions - radical and fundamental changes in the structure and quality of economic, political, and personal relations - to abolish the power now exercised by the few who control great wealth and the government. The Socialist Party is a democratic, multi-tendency organization, with structure and practices visible and accessible to all.
A national group of activists committed to the emancipation of workers and the oppressed. We strive to revitalize the anti-war, labor, anti-racist, feminist, student and other social movements. In the process we hope to bring activists together from different backgrounds into a revolutionary workers' party that can successfully challenge the wealthy elite. Our ultimate goal is a truly democratic society organized to satisfy human needs, rather than corporate greed.
A political party of and for the working class. The SEP seeks not to reform capitalism, but to create a socialist, democratic and egalitarian society through the establishment of a workers' government and the revolutionary transformation of world economy. We seek to unify workers in the United States and internationally in the common struggle for socialism—that is, for equality and the rational and democratic utilization of the wealth of the planet. Platform: For the international unity of the working class; For an emergency social and public works program; For the nationalization of the banks and major corporations; For social equality; For an end to militarism and war; For the defense of democratic rights.
The Socialist Labor Party (SLP) is the original party of socialism in America. Organized as the Workingmen's Party in 1876, the Party was renamed in 1877. The SLP's goal is a classless society based on collective ownership and control of the industries and social services, these to be administered in the interests of all society through a Socialist Industrial Union government composed of democratically elected representatives from all the industries and services of the land. Production would be carried on for use instead of profit. The SLP program for achieving this revolutionary change from capitalism to socialism is based on the Marxist tenet that socialism can be achieved only through the classconscious action "of the working class itself."
Originally pro-Trotsky faction within Communist Party USA. Formed in 1938 after the CPUSA - acting on orders from Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin - expelled the American Trotskyites. The SWP was for many years the leading voice of Trotskyism in the USA. Since the 1980s, the SWP has drifted away from Trotskyism and moved towards the brand of authoritarian politics espoused by Cuban leader Fidel Castro's style of Marxism.
Founded in 2002, a marijuana legalization entity espousing generally libertarian views.
The United States Pacifist Party (USPP) in principle rejects military force. Its main platform planks are zero military budge, defense by nonviolent resistance, and massive aid to abolish poverty worldwide.

Not limited only to veterans, but is also intended to advocate for the families of US veterans. Centrist party.
Built on the confidence that regular working people CAN overcome capitalism, can take back from the class of exploiters the wealth they have created, and create a society that meets the needs of all. Pro-Cuba/pro-China communist perspective.
Founded in 1998 by a coalition of labor unions. The Working Families Party is fighting for a more just world. One where the economy works for everyone. One where politicians are held accountable to working people, instead of big-money backers. One where all of us, no matter where we come from, can find a good job, get healthcare when we need it, afford a home, send our kids to good schools, and have a secure retirement. They're fighting to bring back the American Dream.
